Rasheedat Ajibade is looking forward to making her maiden appearance at the Olympics, reports Completesports.com.
The Atletico Madrid of Spain star will captain the Super Falcons of Nigeria in the women’s football event at the 2024 Olympic Games which will be hosted.
The Super Falcons are making a return to the Olympics after a 16-year absence.

Ajibade stated that she can’t wait to step on the pitch in Paris.
“Yes, Olympics, it’s the first time for most of us. We are excited, May be that’s why we all pumped up. We are ready , we can’t wait to be there,” Ajibade told NFF TV.
“It’s a dream come true, I believe a lot of players in their career want to be in this kind of atmosphere , get to this level but they never achieve that.
“For us, achieving this feat is great. Playing at the World Cup, and now getting the chance to play at the Olympics, is a dream come true for me and my teammates.”
The Super Falcons will face current world champions Spain, Japan and Brazil in Group C.
Randy Waldrum’s side will square up against Brazil in their opening fixture in Bordeaux next week Thursday.
