28 African champions Banyana Banyana of South Africa arrived Abuja on Sunday for the first leg of their 2024 Olympic Games qualifier against Super Falcons of Nigeria.
Desiree Ellis’ side arrived Nigeria early to continue their preparations for the final round qualifier.
Banyana Banyana started their preparation last week Monday in Pretoria.
The foreign-based players are expected to start arriving camp on Monday (today).
The first leg of the final round qualifying fixture will be played at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja on Friday.
South Africa will then host their rival in the reverse fixture next week Tuesday in Pretoria.
The overall winners will play in Group C at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
