Paris Hilton reacts to concern over son Phoenix, 1, wearing life jacket backwards: ‘Oops’

Paris Hilton is taking tips from the parenting police.

After the reality star was called out over her 1-year-old son Phoenix’s backwards life vest during their Hawaii vacation, she acknowledged the error in a TikTok comment.

“Oops!” she wrote to one of her followers, thanking them for the help.

“I never let him out of my arms,” the “Simple Life” alum, 43, noted. “thought it was backwards too, I said that to the person who I bought it from & they said it was on right.

“But thank you so much for letting me know,” she concluded.

The “Stars Are Blind” singer also thanked a separate social media user who advised she “swap the puddle jumper for a float jacket.”

“Oops,” the reality star wrote. She clarified that the 1-year-old was “never out of [her] arms.”

Hilton continued documenting her tropical trip with Phoenix, husband Carter Reum and their 6-month-old daughter, London.

The baby girl, whose face was kept off of social media until April, matched her mom in pink outfits during the getaway.

Hilton and Reum, 43, welcomed London via surrogate in November 2023, 10 months after Phoenix’s arrival.

Since becoming a mother, the hotel heiress’s parenting skills have come under fire on multiple occasions.

In December 2023, she came to her own defense after “Paris in Love” viewers blasted a scene where she changed her eldest child’s diaper “for the first time.”

The new mom wrote, “When it comes to being a mom, I’m fully involved and loving every moment of it,. … It’s interesting how a playful comment can be taken so seriously.”

She did, however, acknowledge her mistake when being called out for incorrect car seat set-ups earlier this month.

Hilton showed Phoenix and London “strapped in” correctly, writing, “Thanks for the mom advice, I’m new to this.”

She and Reum, who have been married since November 2021, gushed publicly about their family plans, before getting engaged.
