Kylian Mbappé would still like to participate in the Paris Olympic Games this summer.

Kylian Mbappé is certain to play an international tournament this summer, namely Euro 2024. Will he be able to do a second, by integrating the selection of Thierry Henry for the Olympics? For the moment, this is clearly not the trend. But the person concerned has not yet abdicated. Far from it.

The PSG striker spoke once again on the subject. During a visit to the Philharmonie de Paris during an event linked to his association IBKM, he confided: “I think we have to wait. I no longer need to say my intention, everyone knows it. I think you have to let things happen, I let things happen. But the Olympic Games are special, especially in Paris. Like I said, I’m old enough or whatever the decision is, I’ll be happy.”

“Mbappé is waiting for Real to change its mind”

This statement clearly sows doubt, as it suggests that he is prepared to do everything possible to be in the game during the month of August. But does this really correspond to reality? According to Loïc Tanzi, the journalist from L’Equipe, the Bondynois knows that ” the door is closed “but he hangs on because he knows “that they (the leaders of Real) can still change their minds”.

Who would Casa Blanca reverse its decision? It still seems unlikely because even an intervention by Emmanuel Macron was not enough to shake Florentino Pérez, the strong man of the Merengue.
