Pat McAfee was a mainstay of WWE television but he had been away for a while because of his non-WWE duties. That changed as he returned during the Royal Rumble and subsequently returned to commentary on RAW. With that said McAfee doubts he will pass the drug tests required for him to compete at WrestleMania.

Pat McAfee has taken on both wrestling and announcing roles in the past, making a memorable appearance and eliminating himself in the 2024 men’s Royal Rumble. However, he expresses uncertainty about his participation in wrestling at WrestleMania 40.

While speaking on All The Smoke, Pat McAfee admitted that he doubts he would pass any drug test for WrestleMania 40, as he is currently on everything that WWE tests for.

“I don’t think I could pass any drug test for WrestleMania because they drug test people. I am on everything I think they’re testing for.”

McAfee mentioned that he’s using “rich guy stuff” to stay thin because he used to gain weight in the offseason. While acknowledging that he doesn’t fully understand the effects of what he’s taking, McAfee wrestled at WrestleMania 38 and WrestleMania 39.

McAfee secured a victory against Austin Theory at WrestleMania 38 but faced a loss against Vince McMahon. However, he bounced back with a win over The Miz at WrestleMania 39. Nevertheless, we’ll have to see if McAfee will ever compete inside the squared circle ever again.
