Patrick Mahomes will not be sharing his political beliefs publicly, unlike his pal Taylor Swift.

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback was asked about endorsing a presidential candidate during a press conference after Republican nominee Donald Trump praised Patrick’s wife, Brittany Mahomes, for her alleged support in the upcoming election.

“I’ve always said, I don’t want my place and my platform to be used to endorse a candidate or do whatever, either way,” Patrick, 28, told reporters on Wednesday.

“I think my place is to inform people to get registered to vote,” he continued. “It’s to inform people to do their own research and then make the best decision for them and their family.”

When asked about Trump referencing Brittany in the media, Patrick said that what matters most is “me and my family and how we treat other people.”

The father of two then noted that he doesn’t think about politics when spending time with his friends.

“Whenever I’m hanging out with whoever, I’m not thinking about their political views or anything like that,” he said.

“I’m thinking about the people and how they treat other people, and I was with a lot of great people this week,” the pro athlete added — days after he and his wife attended the US Open with Swift and his Chiefs teammate Travis Kelce on Sunday.

Patrick refused to discuss his political views less than 24 hours after Swift, 34, publicly endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris following Tuesday night’s presidential debate.

“I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election,” Swift posted on Instagram Tuesday. AFP via Getty Images Trump then slammed the pop star and praised Brittany for allegedly supporting his campaign. Instagram/brittanylynne

On Wednesday, Trump, 78, appeared on “Fox & Friends” and slammed Swift while praising Brittany, 29.

“I actually like Mrs. Mahomes much better, if you want to know the truth,” he said. “She’s a big Trump fan. I like Brittany. I think Brittany is great.”

The soon-to-be mom of three made headlines in August after she seemingly fired back at online critics after she allegedly “liked” a pro-Trump post on Instagram.

“To be a hater as an adult, you have to have some deep rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood,” read a quote Brittany shared on her Instagram Story. “There’s no reason your brain is fully developed and you hate to see others doing well.”

Swift, meanwhile, encouraged fans to do their research on both candidates as she voiced her support for Harris in her Instagram message Tuesday.

“I’ve done my research, and I’ve made my choice,” the “Bad Blood” hitmaker wrote. “Your research is all yours to do, and the choice is yours to make.”
