Patrick Mahomes Talks Accidentally Colliding with Teammate Rashee Rice, Who Appears to Have Suffered Season-Ending Injury

A devastating moment happened during yesterday’s Kansas City Chiefs NFL game.

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw an interception, and as the defender was running the ball towards the end zone, he tried to tackle him to prevent the Los Angeles Charges from scoring 6 points.

Rashee is a wide receiver for the Chiefs, and is considered a huge offensive weapon for the team. It’s feared he suffered a torn ACL as a result of the collision, and he would be out for the season if that were the case.

“I didn’t know exactly what happened because I was trying to make the tackle. I knew it wasn’t good,” he said.

Rashee was carted off the field after this play, and further medical testing is expected to show how long he might be out.
