NFL star Patrick Mahomes has expressed his interest in getting in the WWE ring.
Former NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes appeared on the April 29 episode of WWE RAW. Logan Paul took his Super Bowl rings and tried to hit Jey Uso, but he ducked, so Paul hit JD McDonagh instead. Uso then pulled Braun Strowman away from Mahomes when the big man got in his face.
Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show, Patrick Mahomes discussed his appearance on WWE RAW.
“The WWE thing was awesome,” he said. “That thing was sweet. I wish, I should have got in the ring, man. I’ve gotta show off my skills a little bit.”
Patrick Mahomes was then asked whether he knew that Jey Uso would duck when Paul went to punch him.
“’ve seen enough to know that Jey Uso is good about getting out of those situations,” Patrick Mahomes said. “When he does the ‘Yeet’, that was intense, man. I loved that. At the same time, that’s my man, Logan. I know he’s not the biggest fan-favorite over there in the WWE.
“But I tried to help him out a little bit, but I was definitely scared of the big dude [Braun Strowman]. The big dude was a lot bigger than I expected to see when he walked up, and I was very glad and thankful for Jey Uso getting him out of there because I was not ready to go.”
WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H then replied to a clip of Mahomes’ comments by saying that he had an open invitation.
Jey Uso chimed in by saying that he and Mahomes were “good now”, and he would see Mahomes at the first Chiefs home game.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
