Patrick Scott confirms that he has joined WWE.
Over the weekend, Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam.net reported that Patrick Scott, an independent wrestler, had been hired as a writer’s assistant for the WWE SmackDown creative team. The report noted that he would be starting on Monday, February 26.
Patrick Scott then confirmed the news in a post on Twitter. He thanked everyone for their support.
Yesterday, I left NC as an independent wrestler.
Today, I woke up in CT as an employee of @WWE.
I have much more to say, but Twitter’s character limit is telling me to take it home.
To every single person who has supported me in my 10+ year career, THANK YOU ❤️ pic.twitter.com/7DeyHfFBV2
Scott has been wrestling since 2016. He has wrestled for Deadlock Pro Wrestling, where he held the tag team titles. He is also a two-time PWF Unified Tag Team Champion. Scott previously wrestled on NXT TV in September 2017 and April 2018.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
