Paul Mescal Weighs In On 'Gladiator 3,' Reveals If He Thinks It'll Happen & If He'd Be Involved

Paul Mescal opened up about the future of the Gladiator franchise.

The 28-year-old actor leads the long-awaited sequel to 2000′s Oscar-winning movie, which starred Russell Crowe.

While attending the premiere of Gladiator II in London this week, Paul was asked if he thought that a third movie would be developed. He had an interesting answer!

Paul told Variety that he did see plans for a third movie. Better yet, he didn’t predict as long of a wait between the second and third installment of the saga.

“I don’t think it will be [24] years — but I have no idea when it will be,” he admitted to the outlet. Would he be interested in returning for it? “Oh yeah, massively down.”
