Paul Scholes thinks Erik Ten Hag has dropped Marcus Rashford because of some off-field behaviour.
The Manchester United winger was surprisingly left out of Ten Hag’s squad to play Crystal Palace last weekend.
The timing of Rashford’s omission raised eyebrows because he’d just returned to scoring ways.
Opening his account for the season during a 3-0 win over Southampton before netting a brace in the EFL Cup against Barnsley, fans would’ve expected the Englishman to be the first name on Ten Hag’s teamsheet to face Palace four days later.

The decision to leave Rashford out promoted Jamie Redknapp to suggest the winger had fallen out with Ten Hag.
“It feels like something has gone untoward,” Redknapp told Sky Sports.
“I don’t know the details. But you don’t drop a player that has scored two in midweek and against Southampton.”
Paul Scholes doesn’t believe Erik Ten Hag’s reasons for dropping Marcus Rashford
And although the United boss was quick to rubbish Redknapp’s ‘crazy’ suspicions, Scholes agrees that all may not be well behind the scenes at his former club.
“Leaving Rashford out on Saturday… he’s been up to something, hasn’t he?” the ex-midfielder said on The Overlap Fan Debate.
“Come on. He’s not scored for such a long time, all of a sudden he comes and scores three goals in two games, and now he’s not playing? He’s said it was rotation but come on, do me a favour, no chance.”
United’s next game is a Europa League tie against FC Twente on Wednesday evening.
Rashford’s possible inclusion in Ten Hag’s starting 11 remains unknown, but the United boss did confirm to the club that his mid-week matchday squad will be the same as the one that faced Palace.
