A little tour and then it’s gone. Just six months after his arrival, Paulo Fonseca is no longer the coach of AC Milan. Unable to turn things around with the Rossoneri, eighth in the Serie A standings, the Portuguese technician was removed from his post by his managers. He announced it in a rather special way, in his car, when leaving San Siro.

While he didn’t let anything show during the press conference which followed the meeting between Milan and Rome (1-1), the former LOSC coach finally unpacked everything. “Yes, I left Milan. That’s life, I’m aware that I’ve done everything I could.”released the technician from 51 at the microphone of Sky Sports. The formalization of his departure should therefore not take long, pending the appointment of his potential successor.
