This is one of the big soap operas of this end of season. What will Paulo Fonseca’s future look like next season? Announced accordingly, the LOSC coach should leave the north of France this summer unless there is a reversal.

In discussions with Olympique de Marseille, the current manager of Les Dogues should not engage with the Marseille club. According to the journalist’s information Calciomercato Daniele Longo, Paulo Fonseca reportedly heading to AC Milan.

The 51-year-old has reached an agreement with the Italian club and could even commit to it as early as next week.

An exciting challenge for Fonseca

Despite qualifying for the preliminary round of the Champions League with Lille OSC, Paulo Fonseca will set sail and leave France. The Portuguese coach will, barring a turnaround, join AC Milan and take over from Stefano Pioli.

The Portuguese will make his comeback in Serie A after having coached AS Roma from 2019 to 2021. With the Milanese club, he will play in the next edition of the Champions League and will aim to do well in the tournament but also to bring AC Milan back to the top of Italian football.
