A few days before the winter transfer window closes, several clubs are still looking for the right opportunity. Paris Saint-Germain wants to strengthen its defensive sector, but time is running out.

The leaders of the capital club have made Lille defender Lenny Yoro one of their priorities for this winter. However, the deal looks tricky.

The Mastiffs do not want to sell. This Saturday at a press conference Paulo Fonseca added a layer and seems to have put an end to Parisian hopes for this end of the transfer window.

“Lenny Yoro understands the situation. He knows he’s staying here. He is young but very balanced. This week I had a great conservation with Leny. We talked about the situation. I told him what I thought about it. And he understood that he had to stay here and only think about Lille,” he declared to journalists this Saturday afternoon.

PSG will try their luck again this summer

Lenny Yoro is one of the most talented defenders in Ligue 1 but especially in the Old Continent. The French international hopeful has attracted the Parisian leaders who absolutely want to enlist him. If LOSC closed the door this winter, the Rouge et Bleu will return to the charge this summer.

However, competition will be fierce. Several European clubs including Real Madrid are in the running. The capital club will therefore have to be very convincing. However, according to various reports, the Parisians have the verbal agreement of the player who would be seduced by the Parisian project and of Luis Enrique. To be continued…
