Before returning to Inter Milan, Benjamin Pavard spent some quality time with Olivier Giroud, his now ex-teammate from the French national team. The defender’s new fiancée, Miss Kleofina Pnishi, has returned to her home country.

Three weeks after the French team’s elimination from Euro 2024, in the semi-finals against Germany, the French internationals will begin their pre-season preparation in their respective clubs in the coming days. On the Inter Milan side, for example, Benjamin Pavard and Marcus Thuram are expected this Saturday in Lombardy. They will perhaps play their first preparation match four days later, against Al-Ittihad of N’Golo Kanté, Houssem Aouar, Moussa Diaby, Karim Benzema and Laurent Blanc as new coach.

In the meantime, it was on the Côte d’Azur that Pavard met up with Olivier Giroud, his great friend since Les Bleus won the 2018 World Cup in Russia. The two players played a game of padel in Mougins (north of Cannes). They both received a Sharks d’Antibes jersey, the 37-year-old striker, who is leaving AC Milan for Los Angeles FC, having hidden the Inter logo in one of the photos. Before returning to his Italian home, Benjamin Pavard is clearly finishing his vacation with friends, without his future wife.

Benjamin Pavard engaged

This was indeed the big announcement from Benjamin Pavard last week on Instagram: the Lille native proposed to Kleofina Pnishi, Miss Provence 2017, famous for having participated in

Beijing Express in 2019 (in a duo with Julia Sidi-Atman, Miss Côte d’Azur 2017). The 30-year-old model left her partner in the South of France as she went to a festival in Kosovo, where she was born, the Sunny Hill Festival, organized by the family of Dua Lipa, a British singer from this territory still not recognized by the UN. DJ Snake was the perform Sunday night star.

Left on the bench by Didier Deschamps during the six matches of the Blues at the European Championship, Pavard, 28, is coming off a very good first season at Inter. Recruited for 30 million euros from Bayern, the central defender has become essential as a right axial in Simone Inzaghi’s three-man defense. A knee injury during the fall limited his record to 31 matches in all competitions (for zero goals).
