With Julian Alvarez gone to Atlético Madrid, Manchester City finds itself with only Erling Haaland to occupy its attack. Nothing too dramatic since he already has 4 goals after 2 Premier League games. While Kyogo Furuhgashi (Celtic Glasgow) has been mentioned as a possible arrival, Manchester City does not seem to be rushing to find another striker.

In a press conference, Pep Guardiola presented an option and this one is another Norwegian: “Oscar Bobb can play in that position because he is really good. But Erling Haaland is irreplaceable for many aspects. But we will find a way, when he is not playing for rest reasons or for other reasons, hopefully, to continue to be clinical and play well…» The only problem is that Oscar Bobb is currently injured and his return is expected by the end of 2024.
