The FA have approached Pep Guardiola to become the next England manager. Between an extension at Manchester City and the management of the Three Lions, the Spanish coach should soon make a decision.
The FA has initiated discussions with Pep Guardiola with a view to offering him the position of coach of the England team. With Guardiola’s contract at Manchester City ending in June 2025 and caretaker Lee Carsley leaving the role soon, the FA are hoping to convince the Spaniard to take the reins of the Three Lions. The position has been vacant since the departure of Gareth Southgate, after England’s defeat in the Euro 2024 final.

If I had made up my mind, I would say it… I don’t know yet, anything can happen. » Under contract with Manchester City until the end of the season, the Catalan has not yet confirmed his intention to extend.
