Manchester City are looking to win their fifth Premier League title in a row.

The Sky Blues have stamped their authority in the Premier League by winning four consecutive league titles thanks to the team and the legacy built by manager Pep Guardiola.

The Spaniard has entered the final year of his contract at the Etihad Stadium and according to Sky Sports, the club have set a deadline for his decision.

The Premier League winners want to find out by Christmas whether the manager is willing to extend his contract or leaving the club so that they can work on finding a successor to take charge next season.

Man City chairman Khaldoon Al-Mubarak has made it clear that he wants to keep Guardiola at the club and in order to do that, he will have further talks with the former Barcelona manager.

However, City have realised that the Spaniard has to leave the club sooner or later and they should prepare a plan for life without him.

The report has mentioned that Guardiola has an ambition of managing an international side and that England would be in the running to appoint him when he becomes available.

Man City manager Pep Guardiola has still not made a decision over his future.

There is an understanding at Man City that they cannot keep Guardiola at the club for too long now and it is time that they look for managers to take his job.

Man City currently have one of the best managers ever in the game and replacing him will be close to impossible for them.

Surely they cannot get someone as experienced or as good as him and they will have to realise that after Guardiola’s departure, they club will experience a dip and a struggling phase.

Pep Guardiola has taken Man City to another level

After joining the club in 2016, Guardiola has guided them to win every single competition they have competed in.

He has completely changed the landscape of the club and how they are seen globally, particularly after guiding them to win the Champions League title.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for Guardiola but it looks like he has till Christmas to make a decision on his future.
