In recent weeks, Pete Dunne has set his sights on former NXT Champion Trick Williams. After attacking Williams on the July 23 episode of NXT, Dunne faced Williams on August 6, which was the second night of the Great American Bash special.

Pete Dunne and Williams battled back and forth in a hard-fought match. In the end, Dunne hit the Bitter End to clinch the decisive victory.

Meanwhile, Pete Dunne has also been feuding with Sheamus on WWE RAW. He tried to cost Sheamus his match on the August 5 episode, but Sheamus persevered.
