Peter Dinklage to Play 'Dark' Character in Showtime's 'Dexter: Resurrection'

Peter Dinklage has signed on for Dexter: Resurrection, an upcoming show by Paramount+ and Showtime.

The 55-year-old actor will play Leon Prater, who is described as: “A billionaire venture capitalist. Variety also shared, “Leon is a generous philanthropist, but behind his polished exterior lies dark intrigue.”

It has also been confirmed that Michael C. Hall, who played the titular role in the original hit show Dexter, will be reprising his character. Uma Thurman, David Zayas, James Remar, and Jack Alcott will also be a part of the cast.

Dexter: Resurrection will be a follow-up to Dexter: New Blood, which was a 2021 miniseries that was a continuation of the original Dexter. Meanwhile, the prequel series, Dexter: Original Sin is currently airing on Paramount+.
