The 2023/24 PFA Team of The Year has finally been announced.
The 51st year of the PFA Team of The Year awards.
The organisers making everybody wait until 20 August 2024 to find out the winners, three months after the season ended and also after the new 2024/25 season has kicked off.
The individual award winners last night were Phil Foden (PFA player of the year) and Cole Palmer (PFA young player of the year).
The PFA Team of the year revealed as:
Raya (Arsenal)
Saliba (Arsenal)
Van Dijk (Liverpool)
Gabriel (Arsenal)
Walker (Man City)
Rodri (Man City)
Rice (Arsenal)
Odegaard (Arsenal)
Foden (Man City)
Haaland (Man City)
Watkins (Villa)
Five from Arsenal, four Man City players, one each from Villa and Liverpool.
Newcastle United not represented this time but looking back at the previous 50 PFA Team of The Year awards, there had been 13 different Newcastle players included, four of them in two separate seasons.
Last season, Kieran Trippier became the 13th Newcastle player to make a PFA Team of the year.
