In the spotlight recently in Ligue 1, referees have come under strong criticism. Asked about the quality of French arbitration by bein SportsPhilippe Diallo was keen to support the arbitration body: “ I consider that French refereeing is generally of good quality, even if there are errors that everyone can see (…). I want to congratulate Mr. Letexier and Mr. Turpin for their participation in the Euro at a time when French refereeing has been criticized, sometimes rightly so. It’s a satisfaction to have two referees at this level. »

The president of the FFF, however, regrets that Stéphanie Frappart was not selected for the international competition. “ UEFA made this decision (not to select her). I regret that a woman cannot participate (in the Euro). She (Stéphanie Frappart) refereed the World Cup, the Champions League… She showed her qualities at the highest level » he declared again on the microphone of beIN Sports.
