Former President Muhammadu Buhari has moved to his Kaduna home after spending nearly two years in Daura, Katsina State.
This was disclosed by Buhari’s former aide, Bashir Ahmad, in an X post on Thursday night.
Buhari was accompanied by Vice-President Kashim Shettima, Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum, Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani and other top officials.
“After leaving office in May 2023, Buhari chose to live a quiet life in Daura, away from politics. He has now returned to his Kaduna residence,” Ahmad wrote.
