Remi Tinubu visits Abdulsalami in Niger [Credot: X| KukoyiBusola]
First Lady Oluremi Tinubu recently paid a courtesy visit to a former Head of State, Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar (retd.), at his residence in Minna, Niger State.
Tinubu’s Special Assistant on Media, Busola Kukoyi, disclosed this in a statement and photos shared on X.com on Tuesday.
The statement read, “First Lady Oluremi Tinubu was at the Minna residence of the Former Head of State Gen Abdulsalami Abubakar on a visit.
“The former head of state, while receiving the First Lady, expressed appreciation for the visit, noting that it is heart warming to have the First Lady check up on his welfare.
“Also, the wife of the former Head of State was also there to welcome Senator Oluremi Tinubu.”
In March 2024, President Bola Tinubu was similarly reported to have paid a courtesy visit to Abubakar at his Minna residence.
