Pierce Brosnan Addresses Whether He'd Return to Play James Bond

Pierce Brosnan is talking James Bond.

The 71-year-old actor responded to the idea of returning as an older version of the character he once played in future films following Amazon MGM Studios’ acquisition of the spy franchise.

During a conversation with GQ, he addressed the idea of potentially returning as 007 in future movies.

“I’ve heard of that,” he said of the idea that he should return to playing Bond.

He previously played Bond from 1995 through 2002 before Daniel Craig took on the iconic role.

“Of course, how could I not be interested?” he added.

“But it’s a delicate situation now. I think it’s best to let sleeping dogs lie, really. I think so. It’s a rather romantic notion and idea, but I think everything changes, everything falls apart. I think that it’s best left to another man, really. Fresh blood.”

Fans have been waiting to see who will be the next James Bond ever since Daniel Craig finished up his run as the spy with 2021′s No Time to Die. However, now a new team will be casting the next actor to bring the iconic character to life.
