Pierre Ménès made a big rant against the Disciplinary Commission, which severely punished the Brest goalkeeper, Marco Bizot.

Meeting this Wednesday, the LFP Disciplinary Commission decided to impose a two-match suspension on Marco Bizot, expelled last weekend by Stéphanie Frappart during the draw between Stade Brestois and Clermont (1-1), in the part of the 21st day of Ligue 1.

The Brest goalkeeper received a direct red card after clashing with Auvergne Elbasan Rashani at the very end of the match. Note that the latter also received two suspension matches.

“We should definitely not judge Frappart”

A sanction deemed too severe by Pierre Menés, who denounced a scandal, before tackling Stéphanie Frappart. “Scandalous. Bizot is not a repeat offender; he was not at the origin of the altercation with Rashani. But hey, you definitely shouldn’t judge Frappart…”wrote the former star consultant of Canal+.

Among the great architects of the very good season at Stade Brestois, Marco Bizot will therefore miss the reception of Olympique de Marseille on Sunday evening (8:45 p.m.), but also the Bretons’ trip to Strasbourg on February 24. As a reminder, Brest is currently 4th in Ligue 1, with 37 units on the clock, two less than PSG’s runner-up, OGC Nice.
