Former Canal Football Club columnist, Pierre Ménès spoke about the role of Samir Nasri on Canal +.
New star consultant for Canal +, Samir Nasri has been emerging for several months in his new life in the media. The former French international is often praised for his relevance and the accuracy of his technical analyses. Seeing Nasri retrain in this environment was not obvious, however, as the ex-Marseillais maintained conflicting relationships with the media.
An observation that also applies to Patrice Evra, always quick to get people talking about him. The former captain of the France team was recruited by RMC on Jérôme Rothen’s show. For Pierre Ménès, seeing Nasri and Evra have star consultant roles is quite surprising.
“Nasri and Evra have vomited so much on the media…”
“ Consultant and journalist are not the same profession. Indeed, Nasri and Evra have so much vomit on the media that I find it a bit stupid to see them doing the splashes on the sets is quite tasty“, said Pierre Ménès on his YouTube channel.
Pierre Ménès, however, recognizes Nasri’s competence in this role. “ Even if I don’t find Nasri uninteresting. I even find that it’s quite, by far, the best of all. And hey, I don’t really care, they do what they want! The day you see me on a set with Evra, believe me you won’t be young…“, concluded the former Canal Football Club columnist.
