Piers Morgan has shared that he has been harassed by a woman unknown to him in a case he likens to a real-life Martha from the Netflix show Baby Reindeer.

The UK presenter told The Sun newspaper that, after he interviewed Fiona Harvey – believed to be the real-life inspiration for a fictional stalker in the Emmy Award-winning drama – he became the subject of another woman’s houding.

Morgan said:

“What she was trying to accuse me of was absurd, complete fantasy.”

Morgan told the newspaper he had never met the woman when, last September, she filed a county court judgment against him and his production company, acusing him of “abuse, harassment, fraud and dishonesty.”

Morgan won his firm’s case and received an order for damages, with the personal case against him thrown out of court.

The Sun named the woman as Felicity Lowde, and it reported that she had previously filed 64 cases against various celebrities in the past year, and had previously been jailed for stalking.

Morgan told the newspaper: “She is a harasser, a bit like Baby Reindeer’s.”

Baby Reindeer was created by Richard Gadd, who told the story of his experience of a relationship with a woman. Gadd also starred as himself in the Netflix drama. Since the drama became one of Netflix’s biggest international hits on its release in 2024, Harvey has claimed she has been wrongly targeted as the real-life inspiration for the story. She has filed a lawsuit for damages against the streamer, who are defending the case, saying they stand behind Gadd’s story.
