Brighton did not do it by half measures this Sunday. Traveling to bottom side Sheffield United as part of the 25th day of the Premier League, the Seagulls won 5-0, without ever trembling. The expulsion of Mason Holgate following a deadly tackle on Mitoma (13th) had already announced the darkness of this meeting, and it has only been confirmed.

Seven minutes later, Argentinian Facundo Buonanotte opened the scoring (0-1, 20th), before being imitated by Danny Welbeck in the process (0-2, 24th). In the second half, it was the turn of the new African champion Simon Adingra to put on the show. After Robinson’s unfortunate own goal (75th, 0-3), the Ivorian scored a double, first by receiving a cross from Gross (78th, 0-4), then on a deflected shot (85th, 0-5). In the standings, Brighton climbs to 7th position while Sheffield United remains mired in last place.
