Continuation of the 9th day of the Premier League this Sunday and Chelsea met Newcastle for quite a shock in the fight for Europe. Having to react after their 2-1 defeat against Liverpool, the Blues started the match strongly with a goal from Cole Palmer refused for offside (4th). It was only a postponement since Nicolas Jackson would finally give Chelsea the advantage on a serve from Pedro Neto (18th). A short-lived advantage since Alexander Isak would equalize shortly after the half-hour mark of the game, well found by former Chelsea player Lewis Hall (32nd). Returning from the locker room, Chelsea were able to regain the advantage thanks to Cole Palmer (47th). A 2-1 success which allowed Chelsea to move up to 4th place when Newcastle fell to 12th place.
In difficulty at the start of the season, West Ham and Manchester United faced each other in a second half of the table meeting. After a goalless first period, everything accelerated in the second half. The spark came from the Dutchman Crysencio Summerville who would deliver the Hammers (74th) but Casemiro (81st) would equalize shortly after. Ultimately, West Ham did not give up and Jarrod Bowen was able to give back the advantage to the Londoners (90th +2). A 2-1 victory which allows West Ham to move to 13th place just ahead of the Red Devils who are 14th. Finally, Crystal Palace and Tottenham crossed swords. The Spurs missed the opportunity to climb to the top of the table and lost 1-0 after a goal from Jean-Philippe Mateta (31st). The Frenchman allows the Eagles to move up to 17th place and above all to win their first match of the season.
