This Saturday, Liverpool traveled to Brentford to open the 25th day of the Premier League. The Reds, deprived of several executives before kick-off, won this meeting quite easily but left feathers in the process (4-1). Darwin Nunez opened the scoring (34th), before Alexis Mac Allister doubled the lead (54th). Mohamed Salah, back from injury, joined the party (68th), as did Cody Gakpo (86th). Ivan Toney has meanwhile reduced the gap (75th).

On the other hand, the Mersey club lost two players, all out through injury, Curtis Jones and Diogo Jota. Darwin Nunez came out at the break visibly diminished. With this success not without losses, Liverpool maintains its leadership position and puts pressure on Manchester City, who challenges Chelsea this evening. The Bees are 14th.
