Rúben Amorim will not have had the debut of his dreams on the Manchester United bench. For his first on the Mancunian bench, the Portuguese coach saw his team being held by promoted Ipswich (1-1), 18th in the Premier League. However, it only took 80 seconds for Marcus Rashford to break the deadlock on a cross from Amad Diallo.

Just before the break, André Onana made a miraculous save in front of Liam Delap (40th), before losing three minutes later to a marvel from Omari Hutchinson (43rd, 1-1), the last goal of this meeting. Note the return to the field of Luke Shaw, who entered at halftime for his first match since February. With this result, Manchester United remains stuck in 12th place. Ipswich Town move up one place and are 17th.
