Aston Villa have been strongly linked with Fenerbahce left-back Ferdi Kadioglu and it’s been reported that he also has a fairly serious injury.
However, it is not expected to be enough to prevent the Turkey international passing a medical at Villa Park, according to injury expert Dr Rajpal Brar.
Kadioglu has impressed in his time with Fenerbahce, also attracting interest from Arsenal and others, but it may now be Villa leading the race for his signature.
Kadioglu is available, with Fenerbahce said to be willing to cash in on the 24-year-old for the right price, which is believed to be in the region of £26.5m.
Brar explains that Kadioglu’s current injury doesn’t look serious enough to prevent him passing a medical if this ends up being required of him soon.

Villa fans will no doubt hope their club can have a good summer, with Unai Emery doing fantastic work with this team and showing glimpses of what he could be capable of if he’s given the right backing.
AVFC have immense potential, so a talent like Kadioglu could surely be tempted to choose them, even over a big name like Arsenal, who are also in the Champions League but who might not be able to guarantee as much regular playing time.
