Roberto De Zerbi, the OM coach, reacted to the rumor of Paul Pogba’s commitment to his team.

Free from any commitment after terminating his contract with Juventus, Paul Pogba is cited as a probable future recruit for OM. He could thus follow the path of his former teammate Adrien Rabiot.

The Duke also invited him to join him at the Vélodrome. And other personalities have also spoken out in favor of this transfer, such as Adil Rami or Patrice Evra. But, these are just simple opinions. What are the actual contacts between the two parties?

De Zerbi cash on Pogba

The question was asked this Saturday to Roberto De Zerbi, the Marseille coach, just after the match won against Lens in the championship (3-1). And his response was unequivocal.

“Pogba? I like players who are strong. But at the moment there is nothing. I love my players. I know them well and I trust them,” he assured at the microphone of BeIN Sports.

The transalpine technician cannot therefore promise the arrival of Pogba at the Vélodrome. On the other hand, what he assures is that he is not ready to leave the club. He had let this hypothesis float after the misstep against Auxerre, but this statement should not be taken at face value. “ What if I want to stay in Marseille more than ever? I didn’t need the victory to be convinced to stay in Marseille. I will give my best as long as I stay here,” he thundered.
