Despite a suspension reduced to 18 months by the CAS, Pogba will not be able to play again before March 2025. Free from any contract after his departure from Juventus, the midfielder is actively seeking an ideal setting to get back into shape. Speculation was rife about a possible arrival at OM. But against all odds, Pogba chose a very different destination.
Pogba, a return in preparation in a surprising setting
According to Turkish media Sabah and Fotomaç, Pogba has set his sights on the Galatasaray facilities. An atypical choice for a player of his caliber, who prefers to rely on the modern infrastructures of the Istanbul club to refine his physical preparation.
This choice does not mean that Pogba is ruling out Olympique de Marseille or any other European club. Free on the market, he remains a target of choice for several teams. At 31, his profile still attracts, and prestigious names like Manchester City have reportedly shown an interest in the former Manchester United player.

OM still waiting
For now, Pogba is only focusing on his fitness. He hopes to be ready to attract a new club upon his return in January 2025, when he will be able to start training with a team again.
His visit to Türkiye therefore does not mark a firm commitment with Galatasaray, but underlines his determination to return to the highest level. A trajectory to follow, while its future remains suspended between rumors and promises.
