The Kano State Police Command, on Tuesday, alerted members of the public not to panic as the personnel from No. 52 Police Mobile Force Squadron Challawa Kano will conduct a two-day shooting practice.
The shooting practice will be held at Hawan Kalibawa in Dawakin Tofa LGA, Kano State, on Thursday, September 5 and Friday, September 6, 2024, from 6 am to 6 pm daily.
The Kano State Police Command’s spokesman, SP Abdullahi Kiyawa, in a statement, advised residents, especially those living around Dambazau, Gangaren Dutse, Tumfafi, Kakurum, and Dandalama villages in Dawakin Tofa and Ungogo LGAs, to avoid the area during the practice.
Kiyawa added, “Please, do not panic at the sound of shootings until the exercise is completed.
“The Commissioner of Police, CP Salman Dogo Garba, appreciates the understanding, prayers, and continuous support of the good people of Kano State.”
