The musician’s passing was confirmed by his former manager on Sunday (September 15), but no details had been released at the time. The manager suspected that Tito suffered a heart attack while driving from New Mexico to Oklahoma, but those details were not official. The Gallup Police Department in Gallup, New Mexico has shared new details. Keep reading to find out more… An officer was notified on 6:15pm on Sunday that there was “an individual requiring medical attention and promptly requested an ambulance.” The medical emergency happened at the American Heritage Plaza shopping center, according to People. Paramedics transported the man to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The man was identified as Tito. “Investigators are actively interviewing witnesses and examining both physical and electronic records. The Department’s understanding of the facts and circumstances may evolve as additional evidence is gathered analyzed,” the Gallup Police Department said in a statement. A cause of death has not yet been confirmed.
