Popular American artiste, cum music producer, Justin Riley widely known as BeatKing has given up the ghost.
BeatKing died on Thursday, August 15, 2024, aged, 39.
The singer’s manager, Tasha Felder, announced his death via an Instagram post: “Today, Aug. 15, 2024, we have lost BeatKing.
“BeatKing has been the best part of the club for over a decade. He has produced and worked with so many artists that his sound will forever live. He loved his music, his daughters, and his fans. We will love him forever.”
Born on November 24, 1984, BeatKing’s musical journey began in his childhood, when he played the drums alongside his mother, who was a church pianist.
His official entry into the music scene came in 2010 with the release of ‘Kings of the Club,’ featuring hits like ‘Crush,’ ‘Hammer,’ and ‘Lil TJones.’ However, his third solo album, ‘Club God,’ released in 2011, truly established him in the industry, thanks to the Billboard-charting single ‘You Ain’t Bout That Life.’
He’s survived by two daughters and his partner, Talameshia.
