BeatKing, the Houston rapper cum music producer whose gruff delivery powered viral songs “Then Leave” and “Thick,” is dead.
The news was confirmed on Instagram by his manager Tasha Felder. A cause of death has not been revealed, TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) understands.
BeatKing died on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at the age of 39.
The singer’s manager, Tasha Felder, announced Beatking’s demise in an Instagram post but failed to reveal the circumstances surrounding the death.
He wrote: “Today, Aug. 15, 2024, we have lost BeatKing.
“BeatKing has been the best part of the club for over a decade. He has produced and worked with so many artistes that his sound will forever live. He loved his music, his daughters and his fans. We will love him forever.”
The late Houston singer had two daughters and his partner, Talameshia.
