Yoruba movie actor Adewale Alebiosu, popularly known for playing herbalist or Ifa priest character, has tied the knot with a lover.

The Yoruba actor caused a stir on Wednesday after sharing a photo from his court wedding on his verified TikTok page.

In the photo, the actor donned a white suit and struck a majestic pose next to his bride, who wore a white flowery gown.

The new couple is seen holding their marriage certificate while posing in front of the Ikoyi Registry sign.

It is, however, unclear if this was a real wedding or part of a film. Still, Alebiosu’s post sparked a lot of reactions as fans of the actor flooded his comments section with congratulatory messages.

Adding a professional twist to his personal news, the actor recently issued a warning to his colleagues, urging them to refrain from playing Babalawo roles in movies.

Sharing a personal experience, Alebiosu revealed during a recent interview with BBC Yoruba that he used to see strange beings turn into goats in his dreams and start biting him after acting.

Expressing his newfound understanding, the actor noted that although he was just doing his job as an actor, he was not aware the incantations he was reciting could have real-life consequences.

According to the movie star, many actors are unaware that incantations adversely affect humans.
