Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has been arraigned at the Isabo high court in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
TheNewsGuru reports that this comes after the singer presented himself at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Panti, Yaba, marking a significant development in the case against him.
Following his surrender, Portable was escorted to Ogun State and presented in court on Thursday to face charges.
In the photo that surfaced on social media, Portable was seen wearing a mask on his head alongside security operatives.
Recall that the Ogun State declared Portable wanted over allegations that the singer had physically assaulted three staff members from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development, specifically from the Ota Zonal Office.
The three town planning officials—TPL Onabanjo Abidemi, TPL Raymond Lateef, and TPL Ridwan Oyero Akinlesi were said to be conducting an enforcement exercise in Oke-Osa, Tigbo Ilu Ota, Ogun State when the altercation occurred.
