WrestleMania 41 is already shaping up to be a monumental event, and recent developments suggest a marquee match is in the works for the women’s division.
According to Billi Bhatti on the Dirty Sheets podcast, WWE is planning for Charlotte Flair to challenge Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 41, following Stratton’s shocking title win on SmackDown’s three-hour debut.
Bhatti explained, “The rematch of Becky [Lynch vs. Rhea Ripley] is set, and over on the other side, we are now moving towards Charlotte and Tiffany because the cash-in has now happened. That’s something I reported a while ago, so we’ll see what happens there.”
Bhatti also noted, “It does look very much like Charlotte Flair or Becky will be winning the Royal Rumble,” suggesting that either could take the spotlight heading into WrestleMania season.
Stratton became champion in dramatic fashion during SmackDown, using her Money in the Bank briefcase as a diversion to help Nia Jax retain the title against Naomi before ultimately cashing in on Jax herself. Stratton’s victory was met with an explosive celebration, solidifying her as a major player in WWE’s women’s division.
Charlotte Flair, who has been sidelined since 2024 due to a severe knee injury, is reportedly set to return soon. Earlier reports suggest Flair’s comeback could coincide with the Royal Rumble, potentially setting her up for a high-stakes encounter with Stratton at WrestleMania. Flair’s history of dominating the women’s division and her absence from the spotlight have left fans eager to see her reclaim her throne.
With both Flair and Stratton poised to make waves on the road to WrestleMania, the potential clash between “The Queen” and “The Center of the Universe” is one that fans won’t want to miss.
