Meat forever.

Powerhouse Hobbs had his second pay-per-view singles match of his AEW career against Miro last September at All Out in Chicago. The match ran for about 15 minutes and was well-received by the crowd. Chants of “meat forever” rang out during their battle.

Hobbs recently spoke to Adrian Hernandez about that moment and reflected on how he felt about the match.

“It was awesome,” Hobbs said. “The match went unbelievable, and to be told to keep going and going, and having that energy from the fans. And you know, the fans will make you. They’ll tell you what they want and they wanted more of it. I believe that was the best big-man match in the history of this company so far.”

Miro was ultimately victorious that night, however, Hobbs went on to join The Don Callis Family to feud with the likes of Chris Jericho and Sting.

I’m here

All Elite Wrestling‘s Powerhouse Hobbs was a recent guest on In The Kliq. When asked what winning the Face of the Revolution ladder match in front of his hometown crowd meant to him, Hobbs said the company having the faith to put him in that position meant a lot.

“It meant that I’m here,” Powerhouse Hobbs said. “That the company has faith in me. I’ve said it to my to myself hundreds of times that this is what I was meant to do. You know, with Tony Khan and AEW putting their trust in me to be the Face of the Revolution ladder match meant a whole lot. Especially I got to do it in front of my people. You know, the bay. It made it so much more special.”
