Man United have been one of the summer transfer window’s busiest teams.
The Red Devils have already signed striker Joshua Zirkzee and centre-back Leny Yoro but the club have also bid farewell to several senior players, including Mason Greenwood, who recently joined Marseille, and Raphael Varane, who left at the end of the season on a free transfer.
Despite 10 players already departing, Erik Ten Hag is believed to want more additions but there is an acceptance the Dutchman will only be able to add to his squad if more sales are sanctioned.
And even though the club will listen to offers for the majority of their squad, the two players most likely to depart are right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka and midfielder Scott McTominay.

Predicted Man United lineup 2024-25 season
Should both players end up leaving Old Trafford before the close of the window, United are expected to pursue Bayern Munich’s Noussair Mazraoui and Paris Saint-Germain’s Manuel Ugarte.

Consequently, should the pieces of the puzzle come together, the Red Devils could kick off the new 2024-25 season with a very different starting 11 to the one that lifted the FA Cup in May.
Among those safe from the axe is young midfielder Kobbie Mainoo, who enjoyed a stellar breakthrough campaign, and in-form Amad. The Ivorian is in excellent pre-season form and is now expected to replace Antony as his manager’s preferred right-winger.
Goalkeeper Andre Onana will remain the club’s number one with Lisandro Martinez set to form a centre-back partnership with new £59 million signing Yoro — although there are injury concerns surrounding the French teenager after he was spotted on crutches after suffering an injury during a recent friendly against Arsenal.
Elsewhere, Rasmus Hojlund, who now faces competition from Zirkzee, will look to improve on last season’s 16-goal tally with Marcus Rashford in desperate need of a good campaign.
