Liverpool’s search for a new manager is certainly underway and one of their targets will be allowed to leave his current club at the end of the season.
Jurgen Klopp dropped a bombshell on the football world last month when he announced that he will be leaving Anfield at the end of the season following a very successful nine years on Merseyside.
This has led to the people behind the scenes at Liverpool unexpectedly having to search for a new manager and one name on their list is Brighton’s Roberto De Zerbi.
According to the Daily Mail’s Tom Collomosse, the Premier League outfit are prepared for the Italian’s departure, which means that if Liverpool make contact with the 44-year-old, there is a good chance the Reds will land their next manager.

Bayer Leverkusen’s Xabi Alonso is being viewed as the favourite to replace Klopp at Liverpool, given his Anfield past, but the Spanish coach is in high demand and if he wins the Bundesliga and other trophies this season, it is possible that he might stay at the BayArena.
De Zerbi is also in demand but would be a great fit for Liverpool. The Italian has Premier League experience and has the personality to succeed Klopp.
There is a long way to go before the Reds appoint a new manager but it sounds like the Brighton boss is a gettable target.
