Premier League clubs face a quick turnaround from FA Cup duty as every team is involved in mid-week fixtures this week.

This month's winter break has seen some teams play just one top-flight game in January but now the action is set to ramp back up.

Arsenal can close the gap to leaders Liverpool to just two points when they face Nottingham Forest away on Tuesday.

The Gunners snapped their own three-game losing streak in style last time out by thrashing Crystal Palace 5-0.

The City Ground will bring up some painful memories as it was the site for the ending of Arsenal's title challenge last term.

Three more games will then take place, before European hopefuls Aston Villa host Newcastle in a blockbuster game at Villa Park.

Champions Manchester City kick-off Wednesday's action by welcoming former captain Vincent Kompany back to the Etihad.

City battered newly-promoted Burnley on the opening day of the season and still boast a game-in-hand on the Reds at the top.

Tottenham are also taking on Brentford in a London derby but all eyes will be on Liverpool as they entertain rivals Chelsea at Anfield.

The meeting between the two Carabao Cup finalists will be Liverpool's first Premier League game since Jurgen Klopp announced he will leave the club at the end of the season.
