This (see below) is how the Premier League form table looks ahead of this next round of matches.
Newcastle United hoping to build on that amazing Premier League comeback win against West Ham.
Eddie Howe’s side with a 7.30pm kick-off on Tuesday against Everton, once again at St James’ Park.
So here is the newly updated Premier League form table, which covers the past six matches for all teams, ahead of Newcastle United facing Sean Dyche’s side:
The last six results for Newcastle United with very latest one listed first:
Newcastle 4 West Ham 3
Chelsea 3 Newcastle 2
Newcastle 3 Wolves 0
Arsenal 4 Newcastle 1
Newcastle 2 Bournemouth 2
Forest 2 Newcastle 3
Then the same for Everton and their last six PL matches:
Bournemouth 2 Everton 1
Man U 2 Everton 0
Everton 1 West Ham 3
Brighton 1 Everton 1
Everton 1 Palace 1
Man City 2 Everton 0
As you can see, Newcastle United now in eighth place in this newly updated Premier League form table.
NUFC with ten points from three wins, one draw and two defeats, with fifteen goals scored and fourteen conceded.
Whilst Everton are rock bottom in the form table.
They have two points from zero wins, two draws and four defeats, with four goals scored and eleven conceded.
This is how the full Premier League table currently now looks on Monday 1 April 2024:
This feels like another massive match for Newcastle United.
A win would take NUFC above West Ham if the Hammers fail to win a tough game at home to Tottenham.
Whilst Eddie Howe’s side would also close to within two points of Man U, who don’t play until Thursday when they are away at Chelsea (Ten Hag’s side then have Liverpool at home next Sunday a day after Newcastle travel to Fulham).
Also interesting to look at a slightly extended run of Premier League form for both Newcastle United and Everton.
Newcastle: Played 8 Won 4 Drawn 2 Lost 2 Goals Scored 22 Goals Against 19
Everton: Played 8 Won 0 Drawn 4 Lost 4 Goals Scored 6 Goals Against 13
