Tyrell Malacia has completed a loan move to PSV Eindhoven.
The Manchester United full-back has headed back to back to his home country on a loan deal until the summer.
PSV will pay the entirety of his wages and have an option to make the move permanent at the end of the season.
The 25-year-old moved to Old Trafford from Feyenoord in 2022 for a fee of £13million but missed around 17 months of action through injury.
Malacia is now keen to get his career back on track after playing just 47 times for Man United.
On Red alert
Manchester United sent scouts to watch Sunderland’s north east derby win at Middlesbrough to run fresh checks on midfielder Chris Rigg.
As previously reported in this notebook, United are among a number of Premier League clubs interested in signing Rigg, who turns 18 in June.
The Tyneside-born midfielder is regarded as the best player to come out of the Championship since Jude Bellingham.
In 26 Championship fixtures this term, the teenager has chipped in with four goals and one assist.
With United balancing delicate PSR issues, Rigg is seen by INEOS as a young player available for a reasonable price with future sell-on potential.

West Ham turned down several deadline day offers from Fulham for defender Vladimir Coufal.
Fulham were trying to get a deal done with their London neighbours as the Czech Republic international was playing for the Hammers in their 2-1 defeat at Chelsea.
talkSPORT understands Coufal only found out about the Cottagers’ interest in signing him after the game had finished, around an hour before the window slammed shut.
Coufal’s future at London Stadium remains uncertain with his contract due to expire in the summer.
The 32-year-old has featured in 15 Premier League games this term - starting eight times.
Injury blow
talkSPORT understands Crysencio Summerville is set to be out for up to two months after suffering a hamstring injury.
The West Ham winger picked up the injury in training.
Summerville has not played a game for the Hammers since picking up a knock during an FA Cup defeat to Aston Villa on January 10.
He was expected to return soon but he's now suffered another issue that's going to keep him on the sidelines.
It leaves Graham Potter with only Jarrod Bowen, Mohammed Kudus and Luis Guilherme as wide options in attack.
New loan signing Evan Ferguson is his only fit striker too.
West Ham face Brentford next, and they'll have to make their limited availability in attack work to find their second win under Potter.

West Ham attempted an ambitious January swoop for Real Madrid starlet Endrick, talkSPORT understands.
Sources have told talkSPORT London Stadium officials made contact with the Spanish giants after being given encouragement that he may be available on loan.
Endrick has struggled for game time this season, with just two of his 21 appearances coming as a starter.
He has played just 89 minutes of LaLiga action spread across 14 outings.
The deal would have been one of the more eye-catching ones of the window.
But ultimately, Real were not willing to allow Brazilian international Endrick, 18, to leave.
West Ham signed Evan Ferguson instead after also failing with two offers for Jhon Duran.

'We are disappointed'
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has admitted he's not pleased about the Gunners making no signings in January.
They pushed for a striker in the transfer window, enquiring about Benjamin Sesko and approaching Aston Villa for Ollie Watkins.
On top of that, talkSPORT understands they held talks with Bayern over Mathys Tel who ended up signing for bitter rivals Tottenham on Deadline Day.
But they didn't get any deals done and Arteta was asked for his thoughts on the situation this afternoon.
“We had a clear intention… we have not achieved it," the Arsenal boss said at his pre-Newcastle press conference.
"We are disappointed in that sense. But we are very aware that we only want to bring certain kinds of players.
"We have to be very disciplined with that and we were.”

Joao Felix has officially left Chelsea to join Italian giants AC Milan on loan until the end of the season.
The Portugal international has made 20 appearances and scored seven goals this campaign after joining the Blues in the summer for £46million.
However, his lack of minutes at the club under Enzo Maresca has led to him seeking a move away from Stamford Bridge.
And on Deadline Day a deal was agreed to send Felix to Milan where he will look for more regular game time.
The Serie A side have now confirmed the signing and he will wear the No.79 shirt at his new club.
Late outgoing
Southampton have announced the departure of Adam Armstrong who has joined West Brom on loan.
The deal has gone through today after a deal sheet was submitted last night on transfer deadline day.
Armstrong joins up with manager Tony Mowbray who he used to work with at Blackburn Rovers.
West Brom's sporting director Andrew Nestor said: “We are pleased to welcome Adam to The Hawthorns for the rest of the season.
"He has extensive experience in the Championship and a proven goalscoring record.
“We had always planned to reinforce our striker options and injuries have accelerated our need in this area.
“Adam is an ideal fit for our squad and very much suits our established style.”
Done Deal
Sunderland have finally confirmed the loan signing of Jayden Danns from Liverpool.
The 19-year-old will spend the remainder of the 2024/25 season with the Championship club.
However, he will not immediately join up with his new teammates.
A back issue was spotted in his medical and the first stages of his recovery will take place at Liverpool's AXA Training Centre.
Danns said: “This is my first loan move and a chance to prove myself, so I’m very appreciative of the opportunity and I’m grateful to the club for placing their faith in me. I’ve done my research and the team is incredible, so this feels like the right step.
"I’m disappointed that I will be unable to do that straightaway, but I’m proud to have joined the club and I will work hard throughout this period to ensure I can return to action and play my part.”
Danns has joined SunderlandEmery's impact
New Aston Villa signing Marco Asensio has hailed Unai Emery's influence on his move to the club.
The Spaniard became a Villa player on Deadline Day and he pointed out his compatriot when revealing why he joined.
Speaking in his first interview at Bodymoor Heath training ground, Asensio said: “I’m really happy to join Aston Villa.
“I’m looking forward to being able to contribute to this club, to add to this team with eagerness and with lots of excitement.”
He continued: “Unai is a coach that I’ve known for a while.
"He’s had a great career, he’s a top coach, he’s been key in me being able to come here because of his idea of how he wants to play football.
“I love it, it suits me perfectly and he’s a really important person as to why I’m here right now.”

West Ham have confirmed that Technical Director Tim Steidten is to leave the club.
talkSPORT exclusively revealed the German would be leaving the Hammers in January, and the Irons have now confirmed it.
In a short statement, they said: "West Ham United Football Club can confirm that Technical Director Tim Steidten will be leaving the Club. Tim has been instrumental in our recruitment efforts.
"With the arrival of our new Head Coach Graham Potter, who has brought in his own Head of Recruitment, it is time for Tim to pursue new opportunities.
"We would like to thank Tim for his dedication and hard work and wish him all the best in his future endeavours."
Strangely, the announcement isn't on the Hammers' socials.

Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe has revealed he didn't want to lose Lloyd Kelly in January but was forced to accept his departure dud to the club's PSR issues.
The centre-back only arrived on Tyneside in the summer from Bournemouth on a free transfer, but on deadline day, he completed a loan with obligation to buy move to Juventus.
The deal will become permanent in the summer for £20 million.
However, Howe was unable to strengthen his squad and has now revealed he didn't want Kelly to go.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of Newcastle's Carabao Cup semi-final against Arsenal, he said: "I don't think it was necessarily my decision to let him leave, very reluctant from our side.
"Lloyd is a player we just signed, we believe in his qualities.
"Slightly frustrating he didn't play more, but that's perhaps been down to the form of others.
"We've had to try and manage PSR and make decisions that benefit us, this is one of those. An exciting opportunity for him."

Tottenham have confirmed that centre-back Radu Dragusin has suffered an ACL injury to his right knee.
The Romanian defender sustained the issue during Spurs' Europa League game against Elfsborg.
He was withdrawn after 21 minutes, and the club feared it was bad, which was why they tried to sign two central defenders before the close of the transfer window.
In the end, Kevin Danso was the only one to arrive, as a late move for Axel Disasi fell through.
And now Tottenham have confirmed that Dragusin is set to be out for the rest of the season.
Smart signing
European football expert Kevin Hatchard has given his seal of approval for Manchester City's new signing Nico Gonzalez.
Gonzalez joined City late on Deadline Day in a £50million move from Porto, and Hatchard believes they've signed a star.
Speaking about the 23-year-old, he told talkSPORT: "He came through the Barca academy, played a fair bit for them, but of course they're well stocked in midfield.
"So he got loaned out to Valencia and then moved to Porto, and he's done really well for Porto.
"He's a guy that will bring quality and energy to that midfield and that's what they [Man City] are desperate for.
"You look at how vulnerable they are in transition, you look at how many goals they're giving up. You look at how many fast breaks they're giving up.
"If you slot him in next to Kovacic, that's going to really help.
Hatchard continued: "The other thing as well is, City have looked at him for a long, long time.
"They tried to sign him a couple of times when he was a youngster.
"You might remember his dad Fran, who used to play for Deportivo La Coruna and he's also done some work for City.
"I'm not surprised Porto have held on until the release clause because they had to pay a big chunk of the money to Barcelona.
"I think it's a smart signing."

talkSPORT's Jeff Stelling has questioned whether signing Mathys Tel is what Tottenham needed on Deadline Day.
Stelling said this morning on talkSPORT Breakfast: "Tottenham signed Tel, but is that really what they need?
"Is that the sort of player who can take them to the next level? Is he ready-made?"
He continued: "Is Tel a profile that Spurs need? A teenager, who's barely played for Bayern Munich. Two weeks ago, no one had heard of him."
Fellow host Ally McCoist replied to that question: "He's not.
"It's very unfair of us to sit and prejudge him now as he may come in and be a great success. But he's not the profile you're looking for.
"We've already been semi-critical about a lot of Spurs' signings being younger and that they're planning for the future.
"That's fair enough, but in that respect, you'd think they'd be looking for an immediate fix and that certainly doesn't look the case."
Stelling then said: "In wide areas, they've got Son, Kulusevski, Johnson, Werner if you like, so I'm not sure how much we'll see of him.
"I might be wrong, because I don't know much about him, but all I know is he couldn't get in the Bayern side."
Deadline day recap
Manchester City were the biggest spenders in the winter transfer window, forking out over £175million on new players.
In total clubs spent £370m during the window - which closed on Monday night - with the defending champions spending almost as much as their 19 Premier League rivals.
The figure is a major increase on 2024 when clubs spent just £96.2m on new signings, which was the lowest winter spending in three years.
On deadline day this year, City paid £50m for midfielder Nico Gonzalez from Porto, getting a deal over the line just before 11pm to take their total spending to around £175m.
City had previously recruited Frankfurt forward Omar Marmoush, Palmeiras defender Vitor Reis and Lens centre-back Abdukodir Khusanov.
Tottenham landed Bayern Munich's Mathys Tel on loan, while Aston Villa followed up the signings of Marcus Rashford, Donyell Malen and Andres Garcia by adding Marco Asensio on loan, along with a temporary deal for Chelsea defender Axel Disasi.
Striker Evan Ferguson was reunited with former Brighton boss Graham Potter after moving on loan to West Ham, who have James Ward-Prowse back in the ranks after his loan at Nottingham Forest was cancelled.
Everton left it until the early hours of Tuesday morning to announce the signing of Argentinian midfielder Carlos Alcaraz on loan from Flamengo, while Brighton signed Stefanos Tzimas from Bundesliga 2 side FC Nuremburg for £21million and loaned him back for the remainder of the season.
Newcastle defender Lloyd Kelly moved on loan to Juventus, who have an obligation to buy for £20m, while Ipswich brought in West Brom goalkeeper Alex Palmer for an undisclosed fee.
Wolves left it late to announce the arrival of defender Nasser Djiga from Red Star Belgrade and also signed Reims midfielder Marshall Munetsi.
Although this year's spending by Premier League clubs is up, it still pales in significance to the 2023 number when £815m was spent.

Aston Villa have officially confirmed the loan signing of Chelsea defender Axel Disasi almost two hours after the 11pm deadline.
Unai Emery's side have been among the busiest clubs on deadline day, with Disasi joining Marco Asensio in committing to Villa.
However, the biggest story of the day is Mathys Tel joining Tottenham on loan - just days after rejecting a move to north London.
Spurs have agreed a temporary deal for the the 19-year-old Bayern Munich forward, with an option to make it permanent this summer.
Man City also left it late but have unveiled Nico Gonzalez from Porto to take their winter spending spree to over £175million.
The Citizens joined in on the deadline day drama by matching the 23-year-old’s £50m release clause.
Evan Ferguson has reunited with Graham Potter at West Ham, with James Ward-Prowse also returning to the Irons from Nottingham Forest.
Newcastle United defender Lloyd Kelly has completed a loan with an obligation to buy to Serie A side Juventus.
Chelsea defender Ben Chilwell joined Crystal Palace on loan, with the same terms in place for Carney Chukwuemeka to move to Borussia Dortmund.
The Blues predictably are among the last clubs still conducting last-gasp business, with fans may be forced to wait until tomorrow.
Joao Felix is hoping to join AC Milan on loan but it's not all outgoings - Mathis Amougou from St Etienne is keen to be part of Enzo Maresca's Stamford Bridge revolution.
However, none of those moves have officially been announced yet -You can find the full list of completed deals below.
Roll out the Red carpet
Liverpool starlet Jayden Danns has completed his loan move to Sunderland, talkSPORT understands.
However, the Black Cats - who were involved in Championship action on Monday night away - won't announce his signing until Tuesday.
The 19-year-old made his senior debut under Jurgen Klopp last season - even playing in the Carabao Cup final win over Chelsea.
He has made four senior appearances under Arne Slot this season, scoring once in the FA Cup win over Accrington Stanley.
A second signing from Wolves...
France defensive midfielder Marshall Munetsi has completed his move from Ligue 1 side Reims.
The 28-year-old Zimbabwe international has signed on a three-and-a-half-year deal.
"I'm delighted. It's a dream come true for me," he said.
"I've always wanted to be part of something big, and being part of Wolves is something that is very big for me, and is big for my family.
"It's a team that I've also seen from afar, and the Premier League is the best place to be, so I'm delighted to join the family, to join the team."

The Toffees have completed the signing of ex-Southampton midfielder Carlos Alcaraz.
Everton have agreed a deal with Flamengo to loan the Argentine with a £17million option to buy at the end of the season.
Alcaraz made 19 Premier League appearances during his time with the Saints, scoring four goals in that time.
The 22-year-old becomes David Moyes’ first signing since the latter returned as manager last month.
Alcaraz – who will wear the number 24 shirt – told evertontv: “I am very happy to join Everton, such a great club, with a very good fanbase. I'm very happy and I'm looking forward to start training with my teammates and see the fans at the stadium.
“I am ready for any challenge with this beautiful club so that's why I came and accepted the offer to keep fighting for my dreams.
“I want to tell the fans that whenever I wear this shirt, I will give my best, I will give everything I have to take Everton to the top, which is where they deserve to be.”
Wolves confirm Djiga signing
A full hour after the deadline, Wolves have confirmed that they have signed Nasser Djiga from Red Star Belgrade.
The 22-year-old has inked a five-and-a-half-year contract.
Vitor Pereira had been adamant he would like the club to sign a centre-back after Tottenham hijacked their move for Kevin Danso.
Chairman Jeff Shi said: “We’re delighted to welcome Nasser to the club. This signing took hard work from a number of people, and we’re looking forward to seeing Nasser become integrated into the Wolves family.
“It was important that we supported Vitor this window and this signing is a strong investment for the club, with Nasser having great potential, and we’re looking forward to seeing him develop under our coaching staff.”
Sporting director Matt Hobbs said: “Central defence is an area we’ve been looking to strengthen this window and Nasser is a player we believe can strengthen the squad, both in the short and longer term.
“Since Vitor came in that back three has been consistent, but Nasser’s the quick, aggressive centre back we’ve been looking for to help the group and we’re looking forward to seeing him fight for his place.”
Wolves still expect to finalise two signings, but those might not be confirmed until tomorrow.
Dennis the Menace
Blackburn have confirmed the loan signing of Emmanuel Dennis from Nottingham Forest.
Elsewhere, Tyrell Malacia is currently in his native Netherlands conducting a medical ahead of his loan move to PSV Eindhoven.
The January window closes tomorrow for the Dutch league, so there is no pressure for Manchester United to sanction his exit now.
And finally, Marshall Munetsi and Nasser Djiga are expecting to both be unveiled at Wolves imminently.
