Eight Premier League stars have been nominated for the December 2024 EA SPORTS Player of the Month award, and you can help decide the winner.

You, the fans, have until 12:00 GMT on Monday 6 January to vote for one player from the shortlist below.

Your vote will be combined with those of a panel of football experts to determine the winner, who will be revealed next week.

Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool)

Liverpool’s 26-year-old right-back had a fantastic month at both ends of the pitch, helping the Premier League leaders go unbeaten through six matches to end December eight points clear at the top. Alexander-Arnold got a goal and three assists, as well as contributing to a clean sheet in a month that featured matches against Manchester City, Newcastle United, Fulham and Tottenham Hotspur. His 16 chances created were the most of any defender in December.

Morgan Gibbs-White (Nottingham Forest)

Central midfielder Gibbs-White was the star of a Forest team who ended December second in the table, the first time they’ve been that high since 1994. Gibbs-White was directly involved in five goals in the month, contributing a goal or an assist in four of his six appearances.

Dean Huijsen (AFC Bournemouth)

The 19-year-old Spanish youth international, signed from Juventus last summer, had an incredible December for a Bournemouth team who went unbeaten through six matches to rise to seventh in the table. The centre-back scored a winner against Spurs and the opening goal in a 3-0 win at Manchester United, as well as contributing to three clean sheets with 39 clearances, the second-most among all Premier League players, and 12 interceptions, the sixth-most.

Alexander Isak (Newcastle)

Swedish striker Isak was the Premier League’s top scorer, netting eight times in total and scoring in all six of his appearances, including a hat-trick against Ipswich Town. He was directly involved in 10 goals overall, form that has led Sky Sports pundits Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville to label Isak the best striker in the Premier League.

Jacob Murphy (Newcastle)

Murphy had the third-most goals and assists combined in December. Having assisted only twice all season and failed to score a single goal before December, the winger stepped up incredibly with three goals and four assists as Newcastle lost only one of six matches to go fifth in the table.

Cole Palmer (Chelsea)

Palmer is looking to win the award for the second time this season, and for the third time in five attempts, after five goals and an assist in seven matches for Chelsea. The 22-year-old created 20 chances in December, the most of any Premier League player.

Antonee Robinson (Fulham)

Left-back Robinson was integral to a Fulham team who went seven matches without defeat in December. The United States international assisted four goals from defence, creating 13 chances, the second-most among Premier League defenders. He also made 15 interceptions, the second-most of all players, and contested 41 duels, the most of any defender in the competition.

Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)

Liverpool’s Egyptian scored or assisted a remarkable 14 goals in only six December matches. It is the joint-most goal involvements produced by a Premier League player in a single month, matching Luis Suarez’s record from December 2013. Salah’s performances have put Liverpool in charge of the title race and put him in the lead for this season’s Golden Boot and Playmaker awards.
