With an incredible amount of goals being scored this weekend, the Premier League looks set to make history.
The net has been bulging at grounds all over the country since Saturday afternoon when Everton and Tottenham kicked us off with a 2-2 draw.

That result was followed by four thrillers with Brighton beating Crystal Palace 4-1, Burnley vs Fulham finishing 2-2 and Newcastle and Luton playing out an incredible eight-goal draw.
In only the first four games of the weekend, there were 21 goals scored in total.
And that continued into Saturday evening when Aston Villa had already found the net five times in only 47 minutes against Sheffield United.
That made it 26 goals on Saturday which is now the most ever on a five-match day in the Premier League.

The scoring didn’t stop there though, as another 15 were scored on Sunday.
Manchester United kicked us off with a 3-0 win over West Ham before Wolves beat Chelsea 4-2 at Stamford Bridge and Nottingham Forest drew 1-1 with Bournemouth.
Arsenal then beat Liverpool in a huge clash later on in the day where we saw four more goals scored at the Emirates.
That means a whopping total of 41 goals have been scored this weekend at an average of over four a game.

The record for the highest amount of goals in a round of ten matches in the Premier League is 44, which was last achieved in matchweek 34 of last season.
This means we’re only four goals away from history with one game remaining…
And who better to be relying on than the league’s second top scorers Manchester City?
Pep Guardiola’s side take on Brentford on Monday night, exclusively live on talkSPORT.
If there are three goals in that game, it will equal the record, but four goals would break it.
Should they keep up with this weekend's average goals, it'll be a record-breaking Monday in the Premier League.
